Carioca´s Tips is a blog that aims to provide tourists, visitors, residents and recent any person not residing in Rio de Janeiro tips of the city. No tips from traditional tourist, but walks, places, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and everything that rolls into town, but that only the locals know about and attend!! Being in a big city like Rio de Janeiro is very good, but being there full of good tips provided by local authorities is much better!!

Low Gávea



Located in one of the best neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, Gavia, Low is a concentration of bars, beer and beautiful people.

The BG, as is known by natives is classic two days, Thursday and Sunday, where the street is making people, throwing out conversation, azarando and drinking beer.

Among the highlights mentioned the BG Bar, Hippodrome and the most sophisticated Dimas


Unfortunately Rio joy is short-lived and the city ordered that all bars must close at most 1 am, but always have a guitar and the high street to replace the beer! Therefore it can be considered a happy hour or just a night light!

The BG is at Praça Santos Dumont, s / n º. in Gávea, of course!!
