Carioca´s Tips is a blog that aims to provide tourists, visitors, residents and recent any person not residing in Rio de Janeiro tips of the city. No tips from traditional tourist, but walks, places, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and everything that rolls into town, but that only the locals know about and attend!! Being in a big city like Rio de Janeiro is very good, but being there full of good tips provided by local authorities is much better!!

Brazilian Society Friends of Wine - Humaitá


The SBAV, Brazilian Society of Friends of Wine aims to group people interested in learning or developing knowledge about wine and other aspects surrounding the issue.

The SBAV-Rio, brings the lovers of wine and enogastronomia an informal and relaxed approach of the wine world, without losing sight of the seriousness and dedication needed to study this complex universe and its many ramifications.

The SBAV holds various events throughout the city, but one in particular caught our attention. The tasting held on Wednesdays, where experts reveal the secrets of the most famous wines in the market. It is a happy hour and interesting, where you can meet interesting people, make small talk and of course, enjoy good wine!

The SBAV is the house of culture in the Body & Spirit Humaitá, very close to the COBAL Humaitá.

If you enjoy a good wine can not give this tip.
