Carioca´s Tips is a blog that aims to provide tourists, visitors, residents and recent any person not residing in Rio de Janeiro tips of the city. No tips from traditional tourist, but walks, places, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and everything that rolls into town, but that only the locals know about and attend!! Being in a big city like Rio de Janeiro is very good, but being there full of good tips provided by local authorities is much better!!

Cafe Forte - Copacabana

The Cafe Forte is the version of the traditional seaside confectionery Colombo, the City Center, which sweetens the lives of Rio's more than 100 years.

Located in the Fort of Copacabana, post 6, the tip is ideal for you to do that late afternoon snack with friends, enjoying the delights of confectionery Colombo and with a beautiful view of Copacabana beach.



In addition to the traditional sweet and savory waffles and biscuits craft, the menu also has salads, sandwiches, crepes and pasta, all with the tradition Colombo.

The strong coffee is a good place to go to the two, in groups of friends and especially family. Just do not recommend this place for those who are dieting, or better, but we recommend, but be sure that the day following the diet will have to be much more accurate!
