Carioca´s Tips is a blog that aims to provide tourists, visitors, residents and recent any person not residing in Rio de Janeiro tips of the city. No tips from traditional tourist, but walks, places, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and everything that rolls into town, but that only the locals know about and attend!! Being in a big city like Rio de Janeiro is very good, but being there full of good tips provided by local authorities is much better!!

Waterfalls of the Horto Florestal - Jardim Botânico / Horto

Well, Rio de Janeiro despite being known for its beautiful beaches, believe me, it also has beautiful waterfalls.


Located in Horto inside the Tijuca National Park, we can find beautiful waterfalls, a good option for those days of intense heat and crowded beaches.


Climbing  Lopes Quintas street in the neighborhood of the Botanical Gardens, and through to the end of Rua Sara Vilela, where you can park the car, we can find a waterfall Primate

Climbing Pacheco Leão street, and thence to the end up towards the Chinese Pavilion. Kilometer above, then we saw the Waterfall Puzzle, where many cars are normally parked, as with many people just chillin in the pit generous ..

Walk for another 10 minutes by a well marked trail can reach the waterfall shower.



It's worth checking out. Choose a sunny day well and take a trip there to check it out!

    se um dia conhecer o rio de janeiro quero tomar banho neste rio.
    ai que delicia.
    se morasse no bairro horto ia sempre nos dias quentes.
